Christine has rested most of the day today. It looks like she may be moving to NHC of Dickson or Franklin on Monday to begin rehabilitation of her hip. We have no discharge orders as of yet, so this information has not been verified. However, I did receive a call from NHC Franklin asking me about her peritoneal dialysis supplies so I feel she will be going there in the near future. If at all possible, we will try to get her into NHC Dickson on Monday. Looks like a stay of 1 to 2 weeks is in order at this time. I'll be going to get Sarah and Ben at 6pm tonight. Their apartment is only about five miles from the hospital. I'll bring them up here to see their step-mom for awhile then we will go back to Burns for the night. Hopefully, I'll be filling out paperwork and taking care of all the necessary details on Monday to make her transition to rehab a success. I just hope it's in Dickson.
