Christine is holding her own right now. No better, but no worse either. I am encouraged that her swelling has not progressed as quickly as predicted. She has had swelling, but not to the degree Dr. Connors suggested that she would have by now. In talking with her nurse who sees stroke patients every day, she was somewhat encouraging about her recovery. She is by no means out of the woods. She has two clots that could move and she could continue to undergo swelling over the next 24-48 hrs. Please, prayer warriors, kick it up a notch. I do believe it is working.
