Vanderbilt

Christine is in the critical care unit at Vanderbilt. The team of doctors that is overseeing her case came in this morning and said that she will probably be here for several more days. They are looking at her blood cultures and treating her for pneumonia. She has received a blood transfusion as well. Physical therapy came in today to assess her abilities and made a determination that she will need to return to a rehab facility before going home. We have been at NHC Dickson for three weeks and now are looking into Stallworth, which is the rehab associated with Vanderbilt. Since she has been on the kidney list here at Vandy and they know her case well I think Stallworth may be a better fit for her needs. If we are unable to secure a bed there we will most likely return to NHC Dickson.
