It's warmer here in Nashville. Christine got out of bed and sat in a recliner for about an hour this morning. Right now she's sitting up in bed playing solitaire on her iPad. The nurse just walked in and is preparing to administer her dialysis. We are still in a holding pattern as to where we will go once she is released from the hospital. We are hoping for NHC Dickson, but it may be NHC Franklin. The nephrologist, Dr. Rocco said he would get on the case to get us into Dickson. Maybe he can pull strings. Hopefully, I can take care of all the paperwork tomorrow and return to school on Tuesday. That's the plan at least. If you plan to visit us today, we are in room 743. If you ask for her at the desk, they have her as Phyllis Christine Martin. You may not find her if you ask for Christine Martin.
Kentucky pulled out an eight point win over Tennessee yesterday in Lexington. As a wildcat living in Tennessee this gives me some bragging rights. UK has successfully defeated both UT and Vandy. GO BIG BLUE.
We are planning on watching playoff football today. Believe it or not, Christine enjoys watching it with me. We are officially in the Bronco camp. Don't really care about the NFC game. The AFC matchup comes on at 2pm.
Moe's was great last night. I had the Homewrecker Burrito. Not really sure why it's called that. I ate too much. Great first experience, though. I will go back.
I hate that I've had to miss so much school lately. I miss the kids. We are about to begin Honor Band season so I need to get back ASAP. Hopefully, we can get Christine into a rehab facility and I can return to business as usual this week. If you have not been to the McEwen Warrior Marching Band website, you should. Click this link to go there. These kids rock.
That's it for now.
Stay safe.
Jeff
