Fall Break

It seems the only time I update my blog is when I'm on vacation. Maybe that's a sign I'm too busy...nahhh

The McEwen High School Band has had a successful marching season this year. They competed in their first contest in 23 years on September 18th (and won). Then they competed again the following week (and won again). As director, I have been impressed with how far these kids have come in such a short time.

Our cabin at the lake had a tree fall on its roof during the May flood. It has since been repaired. (actually replaced). We hope to get over there soon.
