Tonight is the kickoff party for the Firefly Fine Arts Festival, an event which will be held the last weekend in June. The Jazz Combo is playing for the party and for the Festival (June 28th). All of the vendors and artist have been invited to the party tonight. It looks to be a fun evening. However, it also means that I have to work on a Saturday. Christine is at the cabin. Another reason for me not to be here. Oh well.
I have begun working on my new CD called "Precious Memories". I plan to market it to funeral homes all over Tennessee and the South. So far, I have six tracks in the working stages. I am recording everything at home in Pro Tools 8 and am amazed by the software.
