The Beginning of the End

Today marks the beginning of what could be the last semester of classes at the Renaissance Center as we know it. ASPU is slated to begin teaching satellite courses here in the Fall. No decision has yet been made about Summer term. In other words, this could very well be the beginning of the end.

I came to this job over five years ago and have enjoyed working here a great deal. It truly is a place like nothing else you have ever seen. Unfortunately, as all things do, it looks to have run its course. I plan to continue teaching here until they tell me to stop. I also plan to focus on building my piano tuning business and I am about to begin work on a new CD that I plan to market to funeral homes.

We had a great weekend with my kids. We ended up spending most of Saturday at Cool Springs.
Sunday was church and rest. Last night I read a lot of the new book I bought this weekend. It's called "Appetite For Self Destruction". It's a book about the decline of major labels in the music industry due to technology. It's pretty fascinating.

Have a great Monday...
