Super Sunday

No, it's not Super Bowl Sunday. But today was a super Sunday of Praise and Worship at FBC Dickson. Pastor Mike challenged us this morning to give of our time like Jesus. Tonight we studied 1 Peter 1:6-9 about rejoicing through our trials. That's hard to do sometimes, but when we do it proves our faith in God. The Ladies choir did a super job debuting "Following Jesus," our Mission Statement anthem, and the youth and children's choirs began working on new music in their initial rehearsals of 2015.

Tomorrow we will have our first Ladies hand bell rehearsal of the year. I am looking for one lady to join us, as we have lost one of our members. If you are interested, come check us out. We rehearse tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 in the west modular. I look forward to working on some new music. Since we did not have services last Wednesday night due to the weather, this Wednesday we will have our first Praise Band rehearsal at 6:30 pm in the Worship Center. I'd love for all you closet instrumentalists to join us. Remember, give like Jesus! Not just of your money, but also of your time and talents. He will richly bless you, a guarantee it.
